The decorated tomb of ancient Japan On a background of blue and green the shape of the tomb appears; it eminates as if seen through an opening in a wall or cave and appears illuminated by a yellow light, flourescent light. The tomb glows mysteriously and luminously; it is decorated by geometric symbols, of four concentric circles like eyes, apparitions of the past.
The work is a rare combination of intricacy and simplicity, characteristic of Tajima's best prints.
